So after 7 weeks post surgery, keeping my diet tight, conditioning type training and energy systems, I was able to rock the stage after deciding two days before the show to compete. I was dialing in for my epic shoots with Kris Josef www.krisjosef.com, and Chris Linton www.chrisvlinton.com. Thank you to all my incredible team mates especially Active Performance and JJ for all your amazing guidance.
My shoot with Kris Josef will definitely be one to remember as it was the most sensual, elegant, moving shoot I've ever had the chance to do. I can't even describe how comfortable and professional, not to mention the incredible guidance and direction throughout the entire shoot, definitely one to remember and I look forward to shooting again this summer.

I then had the opportunity to shoot with Chris Linton at the incredible T2 training systems gym where Troy gets to train us all hard in the dungeon, incredible hard core equipment, love the intensity!! Pictures to come!!!
Then it came down to the decision, should I or shouldn't I? Competing in my now home town, at the University theatre I attend, having my incredible friend MC the event, it was a no brainer, why not, as my awesome friend Myriam would say, "you only live once man".
So needless to say, I surprised myself and placed 2nd in Figure Tall. But honestly the best moment of all was backstage, hanging with all the incredible fitness friends I have met on facebook. Putting a name to a face, hearing about all the incredible journeys, sharing laughs, nerves, positive energy, this is what competing is to me.
“When you surround someone with positive role models, they know that they're not journeying by themselves. We found that if someone has a circle of support, they're less likely to go back inside.”
Thank you for all the support and I look forward to all the epic adventures to come these next few months, living the dream baby!!!
